Much like its namesake, the parade marks a moment of metamorphosis, where creative ideas, technical skill and personal vision emerge into fully realised collections.
From couture bridalwear and avant-garde eveningwear to sustainable practice, textile innovation and contemporary menswear, Chrysalis presents a diverse range of perspectives that reflect the next generation of South Australian fashion talent. Each collection tells a unique story, exploring themes of identity, culture, environment, craftsmanship and transformation through thoughtful design and meticulous construction.
Bringing together established industry partners, educators and emerging creatives, Chrysalis offers a glimpse into the future of Australian fashion while celebrating the dedication, creativity and passion of the graduating designers ready to take their place within the industry. Inspired by the journey of growth and renewal, this graduate parade is both a culmination of years of study and the beginning of exciting new careers in fashion.
